Good to know when selling in South Tyrol
- Land register (Libro fondiario / Grundbuch): ownership and mortgages are recorded in the land register, not in the conservatoria used elsewhere in Italy.
- Resident-only homes ("convenzionate"): many homes can only be sold to buyers who live or work in the province. Check before setting the price.
- Bilingual market: listings in Italian and German reach more buyers.
