Data controller
DolomitesConnect, Corso Italia 30, 39100 Bolzano (BZ), VAT no. 03335030213. For any request about your data: info@dolomitesconnect.com.
What data we collect
- Property address and map position, as soon as you enter it (step 1).
- Phone number, as soon as you confirm it (step 2), even before you give your name.
- Property features: type, floor area, floor, condition, extras, energy class (step 3).
- Sale information: timing, ownership, any agency involved, resident-only status, reason (step 4).
- Contact details: name and optional email (step 5).
- Technical data: the page you came from, referring site, device type; at the time of consent, IP address and browser, so we can prove the consent.
Each step is saved when you confirm it, even if you do not complete the calculator: this lets us send you the valuation or contact you again if the request is interrupted.
Why we process it
- To calculate and send you the valuation and contact you about this request. Legal basis: your request and consent no. 1.
- To share the data with property professionals in your area, who may contact you for an on-site valuation. Only with consent no. 2, separate and optional.
- To send you future updates on prices in your area and offers useful for selling. Only with consent no. 3, optional and revocable.
- Statistics on the property market and use of the calculator, in aggregated, anonymous form, including for future projects (legitimate interest).
For how long
- Valuation request data: for the time needed to handle it, then deleted or anonymised.
- Data used for updates (consent no. 3): until consent is withdrawn.
- The consent log: for the time needed to prove the consents were collected correctly.
Who receives it
Property professionals, only with consent no. 2. The technical providers that help us run the site (hosting, sending emails and messages), acting as data processors. Data is stored on servers located in the European Union. Address autocomplete goes from our server to the Photon service based on OpenStreetMap: the text you type is sent, not your IP address. We do not sell data to third parties.
Your rights
You can at any time request access to, a copy of, correction or deletion of your data, withdraw your consents and object to processing, by writing to info@dolomitesconnect.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
